Control Settings That Can Help Improve Your Gameplay

There are lots of configurations that you can do in Mobile Legends' settings. You can open the settings menu by pressing the small gear icon at the top right corner of the screen, and you can access it any time whenever you are in the main menu or on the battlefield. There are lots of settings starting from Graphic settings, Controls, Interface, Sounds, and up to Network settings. In this article, I'm going to focus on the 'Control' settings and explain the benefits for the players who use them. Keep in mind that I will not explain every setting that is available and will only focus on the settings that have the biggest impact on your gameplay experience.

Aiming Method

Choosing The right aiming method can help you target more accurately. It is recommended to choose "Advanced Aim" as your aiming method. Using Advanced Aim can make you choose whether to hit Enemy heroes, jungle creeps, minions, or hit enemy turrets.

Targeting Priority

Each Targeting Priority setting has its own benefits. Let me explain below:

1. Lowest HP Percent, it helps you attack an enemy with the lowest HP (Health Points) based on percentage. For example, there are two enemy heroes, one has 20k total HP but he has taken damage into 80%, the other one has only 2k total HP but he's still at 100%. With this setting, you will hit the enemy who has 20k total HP first.

2. Lowest HP, this targeting type is similar to the previous one, except you will hit the enemy with the lowest amount of total HP first even though the other enemy has only half (50%) of HP (except if the amount of that 50% hp is lower in comparison to the total HP).

3. Closest Target, this targeting type is simple, it will hit the closest enemy first no matter their HP.

Advanced Control Mode

Advanced Control Mode has lots of configurations in comparison with the other control settings. Choosing the right one (also according to your preference) will bring the most impact on your gameplay.

Hero Lock Mode

Enabling "Hero Lock Mode" will give you a head icon whether an enemy is close by. Pressing the icon will make you only attack the hero. Enabling this setting will help you attack enemy hero easily if there are lots of enemies together/grouping.

Camera Shift

(Without Camera Shift)

(With Camera Shift)

Enabling Camera Shift will make the camera pan higher/zoom out if you are using certain hero skills who have a long-range type skill. For example heroes like Selena, Pharsa, Gatotkaca, Franco, and many others.

Assisted Aiming Mode

Enabling this setting will make your skills (tapping the skill) auto-aimed to an enemy close by without having to aim at them (except if the enemy is moving).

Camera Sensitivity

Adjusting the correct Camera Sensitivity will affect how far the camera movements will go in the game. You can adjust it according to your preference.

You can look outside your hero on the battlefield by moving the camera. You can move the camera simply by sliding your fingers on the rights portion of your phone screen.

And That's all the Control Settings recommendations that I think are useful for a lot of people. Let me know your thought after trying them or share your own preferred control settings down in the comments. Have a nice day and I hope to meet you in the Land of Dawn!
