Sounds and how important it is in Mobile Legends

 

    Sound design is one of the important aspects of video games. It can create a mood and tension for the players to feel the atmosphere of the game. But did you know that sound can be used not only for the 'aesthetic' aspect of the game? Sound can also become a 'mechanic' that can be learned to help the players who play the game. A simple example is when you play FPS (First Person Shooter) game such as Counter-Strike or PUBG. Sounds that are coming from gunshots, grenades, and footsteps that the players hear can be utilized to gain benefit for the players. Now, what about sounds in MOBA games like Mobile Legends?

    Mobile Legends also design a lot of sounds for the players to hear inside the gameplay, below are three examples of sound cues that the players can benefit from in Mobile Legends.

1. Sounds of enemies farming

You can locate and hear where the enemy is farming by sliding your camera. If you hear the sound of an enemy hitting jungle creeps, it means that he/she is there. Take a look at this video for example:

A lot of heroes also produce sounds when they are casting or charging their skills while hiding inside the bush. 3. Sounds of enemies hitting lord

The sounds of the lord who is fighting with the enemy's team are very loud. You can simply hear these sounds by sliding your camera towards the lord's area. If you hear the lord's fighting, it means that the enemy's team is trying to take him down. Take a look at this video for example: 

    Apart from the three examples above, there are still many other sound cues that are unique and can be utilized.
